About PaySSD

Empowering South Sudan businesses with secure, reliable payment processing

Our Story

Founded in 2024, PaySSD was born from a simple observation: South Sudan businesses needed a reliable, secure way to accept digital payments. Despite being one of Africa's youngest nations, South Sudan has a vibrant entrepreneurial spirit that deserves world-class payment infrastructure.

Registered in Kenya and licensed to operate across East Africa, we built PaySSD specifically to address the unique challenges faced by South Sudanese merchants. Our platform combines international payment standards with local market understanding.

We partnered with Paystack, Africa's leading payment technology company, to provide enterprise-grade payment processing while maintaining our focus on the South Sudan market. This allows us to offer multiple payment methods including cards, M-Pesa, mobile money, and bank transfers.

Today, we're proud to serve businesses across South Sudan, from small retailers in Juba to growing enterprises nationwide. Our mission is to make digital payments accessible, affordable, and secure for every South Sudanese business.
